We Build Tomorrow’s Innovators Today
At American Robotics Academy, we believe every child is a natural-born builder and thinker. Our mission is to inspire that potential through hands-on robotics programs that are as engaging as they are educational. Whether in school, after school, or at camp, we meet kids where they are, encouraging collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving in every session.
Our Mission: Inspire Creativity Through Engineering
We aim to excite, inspire, and motivate young learners with the fun and real-world impact of robotics. Through hands-on experiences featuring LEGO® Technic systems, our students build, test, and redesign robots that bring motion and imagination to life.
Our program focuses on principles like gears, pulleys, axles, motors, and modular design, teaching children how things work and how to solve design challenges in age-appropriate teams.
With small class sizes (max 15 students) in a collaborative, sports-like environment, we make STEM accessible, engaging, and fun!
Our Philosophy & Values: Engineering Confidence, Collaboration & Creativity
Curiosity & Exploration: We spark imagination through open-ended problem-solving using LEGO® Technic and robotics modules.
Teamwork & Communication: Working in small groups, students grasp creative design and collaboration while building their robots.
Design & Iteration: Each cycle of build-test-redesign encourages resilience and real-world engineering thinking.
Respect & Integrity: We foster a safe, respectful environment where punctuality and positive behavior shape every session
Our Story: From One LEGO Kit to a National Robotics Movement
Founded decades ago in Texas, American Robotics Academy has grown from a grassroots robotics class to a nationwide leader in STEM enrichment. Over the years, we've partnered with countless schools, scout troops, micro-schools, and family camps across Texas and beyond, impacting thousands of young engineers.

What We Teach: Engineering Skills That Build a Future
Our curriculum blends STEM fundamentals with creative challenges covering:
Mechanical Engineering: Gears, motors, power transfers, and structural design
Coding & Robotics: Programming LEGO motors and sensors, block-based logic, and competition tasks
Computational Thinking & Coding Languages: Engaging tools like Micro: bit and MicroBlocks for ages 3rd–6th
Each program is organized by grade level and interest area—beginner building, coding-enhanced robotics, and advanced challenges featuring modular arenas or competition-ready bots.
